In 1984 he graduated with honors from the Department of Aircraft Engines of the Kharkov Aviation Institute (KhAI) named after M.V. N. E. Zhukovsky.

Skob Yu.A. has been working at KhAI since 1984: 1990 – candidate of technical sciences;

1994 – senior researcher, specialty “Thermal engines of aircraft”;

2006 – Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics.

He has a total work experience of 31 years, of which more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Scientific interests: development of mathematical models and computational methods for solving practical problems:

  • spatial internal flow of gas in the interblade channels of air-jet turbomachines;
  • ecology of the surface layer of the atmosphere, numerical assessment of the consequences of man-made accidents associated with the release of explosive and toxic gaseous substances into the atmosphere.

Since 1986 Skob Yu.A. performed as an executor as part of temporary work teams a large amount of research work with leading aerospace and power engineering companies of the near abroad and Ukraine, including:

With the direct participation of Yu.A. He is a regular participant in the scientific and methodological seminar “Mathematical Models, Computational Methods and Information Technologies of Engineering Analysis, Synthesis and Diagnosis of Systems and Processes”.

Skob Yu. A. is the author of 84 scientific publications, of which 32 are publications in journals and collections of papers from the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine, 28 are in the proceedings of international symposiums and conferences, 8 are copyright certificates for inventions and registration of computer programs, 16 are educational allowances.
