Computer Science: Intelligent systems and technologies include the study of approaches, methods and technologies used in modern intelligent systems, the development of expert, advisory, intelligent information retrieval, calculation, and logic systems Students get acquainted with the technologies for creating intelligent systems, such as Prolog, Lisp, a variety of programming languages (C#/.Net, C++, Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Assembler), mathematical methods of data analysis, software design methodologies.
Information technologies are studied:
- Computing and programming.
- Methods for the effective organization of the labor process are associated with the processing of information.
- The processes of interaction between people, the informatization of society, as well as their impact on social processes.
Within the framework of the specialty, specialists are trained who are able to design, implement, and operate modern information systems and information technologies (IS / IT).
The department cooperates with the largest IT companies in Kharkiv. Within the framework of cooperation, several joint courses are taught to students of both directions: “Distributed and Cloud Computing” with Plarium, and “Data Analysis” with CS Ltd. The course “Development of games in C ++” was read together with Gameloft, “Cryptocurrencies and distributed systems” together with Distributed Lab, and the practical course “Agile development” together with Sigma Software.
Basic skills of students of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Artificial Intelligence
In addition to mathematical, natural sciences, and humanitarian disciplines, you will study such professional and special disciplines: information and communication technologies, design and creation of information systems, methods of information and knowledge processing, application of system analysis and information management, mathematical modeling of social and economic processes, financial and actuarial mathematics, information technology management.
During the training, you will get acquainted with the latest scientific achievements in the field of information technology and programming. Graduates of the specialty are specialists of a wide profile. The objects of their research are in such areas of science and technology as computer graphics, distributed computing and computer networks, biomechanics, modeling in medicine, and forecasting social processes.
As part of professional and practical training, students study disciplines aimed at using knowledge in various areas of information technology, in particular:
