What have we done

  • Since March 1, 2020, nine doctors of sciences have been working at the department
  • In 2018, the state budget scientific topic was won (supervisor – Professor Yakovlev S.V.)
  • In 2019, a contract was signed and an intelligent computer teaching system in mathematics was delivered to the Center for the Development of Educational Programs, Beijing, China (supervisor – head of the department, Professor Chukhrai A.G.)
  • In 2017, student Veprentsova K. won first place in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Informatics in the Humanities. Supervisor – Senior Lecturer Trofimova I.A.
  • In 2017, student S. Kryvtsov took third place in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Informatics in Engineering. Supervisor – assistant Menyailov E.S.
  • In 2017, student Piletsky P.E. took second place in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers in the field of “Informatics and Cybernetics”, which was held at Sumy State University. Scientific adviser – assistant Chumachenko D.I.
  • In 2017, student Piletsky P.E. won (the only one in KhAI) the competitive selection of the scholarship program of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation “Zavtra.UA”. Scientific adviser – assistant Chumachenko D.I.
  • In 2018, student Piletsky P.E. took third place in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field of “Computer Science”, which was held at the Khmelnytskyi National Technical University. Scientific adviser – associate professor Chumachenko D.I.
  • In 2018, student Piletsky P.E. won the L.D. Kuchma.

  • In 2018, student Mazorchuk K.K. As part of the Ukrainian women’s team at the World Championship (juniors) in archery, she took third place.

  • In 2019, student Pirogov P.A. took third place in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Informatics in Engineering. Supervisor – senior lecturer Menyailov E.S.

  • In 2020, student Pirogov P.A. became the winner (3rd place) of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works “Information systems and technologies” 2019-2020 academic year. Scientific advisers: associate professor Chumachenko D.I., senior lecturer Menyailov E.S.

  • Assistant of the department Menyailov E.S. (in co-authorship with Professor Ugryumov M.L.) won a grant and took part in the world congress “12th World Congress of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization 2017”, which took place in Braunschweig, Germany in 2017.

  • Associate Professor Skob Yu.A. (co-authored with Professor Ugryumov M.L.) won a grant to attend with the report of the international conference “International Conference on Hydrogen Safety 2017”, which was held in 2017 in Hamburg, Germany.

  • Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. won a grant for the internship “Project Review Module” within the framework of the MediPIET project, which took place in Spetses, Greece in 2017.

  • Associate Professor Kartashov A.V. won a grant for an internship that took place in Lund, Sweden in 2017.

  • Professor Yakovlev S.V., associate professor Pichugina O.S. won a grant to attend ESICUP2017, which took place in Liege, Belgium in 2017.

  • Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. won a grant to attend with the report of the international conference “III MediPIET Annual Scientific Conference”, which was held in Brussels, Belgium in 2017.

  • Professor Yakovlev S.V., associate professor Kartashov A.V. won a grant to attend ESICUP2018, which took place in The Hague, Holland in 2018.

  • Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. attended with a report the International Conference on the Integration of Production, Education, Innovation and Their Implementation, which was held in Harbin, China in 2018.

  • Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. won a grant from the US Department of Defense and took part with a report at the “International Society for Disease Surveillance 2019 Annual Conference”, held in San Diego (USA) in January 2019.

  • Professor Yakovlev S.V., associate professors Kartashov A.V. and Pichugina O.S. won a grant to attend the “29th European Conference on Operation Research EURO 2018”, which was held in Valencia, Spain in 2018.

  • Associate Professor Skob Yu.A. attended with a report in 2019 a scientific conference in Adelaide, Australia.

  • Professor Yakovlev S.V., associate professor Pichugina O.S. won a grant to attend the “30th European Conference on Operation Research EURO 2019”, which was held in Dublin, Ireland in 2019.

  • In 2020, Associate Professor Pichugina O.S. won a grant and completed a scientific internship at the Karl and Franz University of Graz, Graz, Austria.

  • In 2017, Ph.D. thesis was defended by an assistant Bazilevich K.A. specialty 05.13.06 – information technology (supervisor – candidate of technical sciences, associate professor M.S. Mazorchuk).

  • In 2017, Ph.D. thesis was defended by an assistant Chumachenko D.I. specialty 05.13.23 – systems and means of artificial intelligence (supervisor – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Yakovlev S.V.).

  • In 2018, Ph.D. thesis was defended by Ph.D. student Kh.P.M. Bastida, specialty 05.13.06 – information technology (supervisor – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Chukhrai A.G.).

  • In 2018, a Ph.D. thesis was defended by a postgraduate student of the department V.A. Hot on the specialty 05.13.06 – information technology (supervisor – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ugryumov M.L.).
  • In 2019, the doctoral dissertation of O.S. Pichugina, specialty 01.05.02 – mathematical modeling and optimization methods (scientific consultant – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Yakovlev S.V.).
  • In 2019, Ph.D. thesis was defended by senior lecturer K.P. Korobchinsky, specialty 05.13.06 – information technology (supervisor – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Yakovlev S.V.).
  • In 2020, the doctoral dissertation was defended by the associate professor of the department Yaskov G.N. specialty 01.05.02 – mathematical modeling and optimization methods (scientific consultant – corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Stoyan Yu.G.).
  • Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. in 2017, 2018 took first place in the nomination “Young scientific and pedagogical practitioner” of the Ikara KhAI professional skills competition, and in 2019 – first place in the nomination “Student Mentor”.
  • In 2018, Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. took second place in the nomination “Scientific activity” of the city competition “Young People of Rock”
  • In 2019, Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. won an open competition and became a member of the Galuzev expert group for the sake of information technologies of the National Agency for the Security of Health Education.
  • In 2017, the department took second place in the overall ranking among 40 departments of KhAI, in 2018 – first place, and in 2019 – second place.
  • Head department, Professor Chukhrai A.G. in 2018 he was awarded the Gratitude of the Kharkiv Regional Council, and in 2019 the Certificate of Honor of the Kharkiv City Council.
  • Professor Yakovlev S.V. awarded the State Prize in the field of science and technology for 2019
  • Professor Kozhukhov V.D. in 2020 he was awarded the Badge of Merit for KhAI University.
  • Senior Lecturer Trofimova I.A. in 2020 she was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
  • In 2020, Associate Professor Chumachenko D.I. won a scholarship from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.
  • Head department, Professor Chukhrai A.G. invited and performed the duties of the Chairman of the Examination Commission for the defense of masters and bachelors at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of Kharkiv National University. V.N. Karazin in 2018, 2019, 2020 and at the Department of Computer Science of Sumy State University in 2020.
  • Professor Yakovlev S.V. invited and acted as the Chairman of the Examination Board for the defense of masters and bachelors at the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
